The Online Experience
While there are many competitions all over the nation and the world for piano that requires a live performance, US New Star Music LLC makes competing for piano a more affordable and accessible experience. With just an application, competitors only need to send in a video to us, online or through mail.

Our
Competitions
At US New Star Music LLC, we provide four different annual piano competitions for students up to the age of 19 to participate. Students may either choose to apply for the Competition by Composer, the Etude Competition, the International New Star Piano Competition, the US New Star Strings Competition, the US New Star Vocal Competition and US New Star Two Pianist (Duet &Duo) Competition or even all of them. Each competition takes place at a different time of the year, so be sure to keep up to date with our updates on applications! You may choose to subscribe to us to receive emails for updates on incoming competitions.
Competition by Composer
This year, our Competition by Composer is focused on the following composers: Bach, Beethoven, Chopin or from any Asian composer. Needs to be memorized.
US New Star Etude Competition
Our Etude Competition’s requirements this year are two solo piano pieces: one etude and one baroque or classical piece. Both have to be memorized, time limit indicated on the application page as a suggestion.
International New Star Piano Competition
This year, our International New Star Piano Competition’s requirements for applicants are two solo piano pieces of contrasting styles, both have to be memorized, time limit indicated on the application page as a suggestion.
US New Star Violin Competition
This year, our US New Star Violin Competition’s requirements for applicants are two solo violin pieces of contrasting styles, both have to be memorized, there is no time limit.
